6th Business macroResearch Conference: Paris 2017

Conference History In 2012, we had published our first call for the December Paris conference, aiming for the topics that would give primarily a multidisciplinary view on the 2008 financial crisis. The 1st edition of conference was a great success, attracting participants from over 30 countries. Over the years, the conference significantly grew, with participants coming from over 70 countries. Additionally, we expended the focus of the conference to cover all areas of business research, as well as the business related disciplines. Our Paris conference is generally a large conference, and many participants continue to return over the years, forming the new and lasting friendships and collaborations. We plan to continue to meet in Paris each December, and are truly looking forward to our 6th edition in 2017!

Conference Mission The broad mission of the conference is to create a large multicultural, global event, where academics can share their unique research with international audience of scholars, as well as practitioners. We also aim to create a venue where first-time researchers, (such as students and junior faculty) can share their research with experienced scholars and get valuable experience.

Conference Topics The conference accepts abstracts discussing all business research topics, as well as business related disciplines. Special sessions invite research dealing with the broad macro trends or themes affecting the financial markets (regulations, policies, demographic trends, economic indicators, global macro indicators). For these special sessions, we also invite practitioners to share their views.
